1. About events.ky

events.ky is an online event ticketing platform operated by The Grow Group Ltd, a company registered in the Cayman Islands. The platform enables event organisers to list and sell tickets, and enables buyers to discover and purchase tickets to events in the Cayman Islands.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using events.ky, whether as a ticket buyer, event organiser, or visitor, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

3. Accounts

To purchase tickets or list events, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. An account may be created automatically when you purchase a ticket as a guest. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.

4. Ticket Purchases

When you purchase a ticket through events.ky, you are entering into a transaction with the event organiser. events.ky facilitates this transaction but is not the seller of the ticket. All ticket sales are subject to the event organiser's own terms and conditions, including any age restrictions, entry requirements, or event rules.

Tickets are delivered electronically via email and are accessible through your account. Each ticket includes a unique QR code for entry. Do not share your QR code — it can only be scanned once.

5. Payments and Fees

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. The charge on your statement will appear as "Optimise Pro" or similar. events.ky does not store your full payment card details.

A platform service fee is applied to each ticket purchase. This fee is 5% of the ticket price plus a per-ticket fee (currently $0.50 for tickets under $50.00, or $1.00 for tickets $50.00 and above). Free tickets do not incur a fee. Fees are displayed clearly before you complete your purchase.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund policies are set by each event organiser. If you require a refund, please contact the event organiser directly. events.ky is not responsible for issuing refunds on behalf of organisers. If an event is cancelled, the organiser is responsible for arranging refunds to ticket holders.

7. Event Organisers

Event organisers are responsible for the accuracy of their event listings, including dates, times, venue details, and ticket pricing. Organisers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the Cayman Islands, including obtaining any necessary permits and licences for their events.

Organisers are responsible for fulfilling all ticket purchases and honouring the terms of their event listings. events.ky reserves the right to remove events or suspend organiser accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

Organiser payouts are processed after events take place, subject to verification requirements. Organisers selling paid tickets may be required to provide proof of identity, proof of address, and a Trade and Business Licence where applicable.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: resell tickets at inflated prices using the platform; create fraudulent events or listings; use the platform for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access other users' accounts; interfere with the operation of the platform; or use automated tools to scrape or interact with the platform without permission.

9. Intellectual Property

The events.ky platform, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of The Grow Group Ltd. Event content, including images and descriptions, remains the property of the respective organisers. By uploading content, organisers grant events.ky a licence to display that content on the platform for the purpose of promoting and facilitating ticket sales.

10. Limitation of Liability

events.ky acts as a platform connecting event organisers with ticket buyers. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of events listed on the platform, nor for the actions of organisers or attendees. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Grow Group Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or attendance at any event.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of events.ky after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of events.ky shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Cayman Islands.
